This was our first week of school at @apogeecedarpark. Dozens of schools opened all over the nation. Hundreds, more are in Q.
School is supposed to be fun, a place where curiosity thrives and learning feels like an adventure rather than a chore. I hasn’t been for a LONG time. Today, unique and alternative educational opportunities are emerging that challenge traditional methods that have been failing a generations. Approaches and methods that we focus on at @apogeeprogram like Socratic learning, which encourages questioning and critical thinking, or project-based learning, where students engage in hands-on experiences, are proving to be more effective in developing young minds. Most of all we focus on individual responsibility and a full family approach to education. These methods foster creativity, problem-solving skills, and a love for learning, offering a richer, more engaging educational experience than the conventional model of rote memorization and standardized tests.
@mattbeaudreau and I are part of a revolution of parents. There has been a great awakening and we are taking back our sovereignty.
